Guest guest
1 point is generally 50 calories. However, it can be up to 100 calories depending on fat, and fiber content. For instance they have yogurt that is 100 calories, yet it is 1 point. It's 1/2 a gram of fat, and 3gms of fiber. >From: Kathey <WeRBlessed4@...> >Date: Thu May 04 14:35:58 CDT 2006 >100-plus >Subject: Re: Calorie question >The biggest looser book says to LOOSE weight you need to eat 7 calories per pound of body weight you are.....so for me it started out at 1925 and now is down to 1600 something......BUT it also depends on how active you are.....I am on weight watchers and I have never really actually figured out my calories.....maybe I should try that and see what it ends up being....I am thinking that 1 point is somewhere from about 65 calories and under....so if that is the case, I am 'allowed' roughly 1820 calories.....but again, the more exercise you do, the better....I think once I am 'goal' weight, I will be eating approx 1300 calories a day to maintain (20 points is the lowest ww wants you to go)......Blessings! >Kathey Calorie question >I've done a couple " how many calories should you be eating " >calculators and they come out around 2300. Guest guest
Hi all, I know I am posting fool lately, you guys are going to get sick of me. lol :-) but I am off work this week and on my down time I am trying to keep my mind busy. right now I am sitting here and my husband is clanking around in the kitchen and making him and my step- son sausage, eggs and hashbrowns. oh, my gosh, I am dying! so I am trying to get past it. well I have a question: does anyone know how many cals are in those ramen seasoning packs? that is what I am using too, because they have some spice and kick to them, unlike regular broth. But I am trying to figure out how many cals I am taking in each day. it feels like I am getting about 600 but sometimes things add up more than you think. but the only thing I am getting that really has cals is the isopure (which I do once daily) and then the ramen packets. cuz the water, jello and popsycles dont have that much. Oh and someones question about weight loss, everyone is so different. But it seems like most people loose about 20 lbs in the first 3-4 weeks. and does anyone else think that if you have more to loose you loose faster in the begining? I kind of think so? well hugs to all, and sorry for rambling so much. But I am not use to this much time on my hands. I usually work 10-12 hour days 5 days a week because I run a busy business. so I am usually really busy, so all this time on my hands has been nice, but I am trying to keep my mind busy. :-) talk to you sooner than you think. lol lol
Guest guest
I have always wondered that myself but I figured if you look at the ingredients, they are separated from the noodle ingredients and most of it is spices and a little sugar. If I had to guess, no more then 60 calories??? Guest guest
Uh oh! LOL I Googled it and came up empty...I went to the Maruchan site, but it is all in Japanese! Oh well! Boy if anyone ever finds out for sure, I'd love to know! Guest guest
Swanson has a wonderful Seasoned Chicken Broth, Roasted Garlic (have to love garlic) It is 99% fat free. 1 serving is 1 cup @ 10 calories per serving. 1 can is 2 servings. I get it @ wal-mart. Shirley robbieandstef <stefanie@...> wrote: Uh oh! I read somewhere on here that the packets were about five calories, but I should have known that was too good to be true!
