Thank Ralph...... but I dont have cable......... any ideas on National

network (ABC, NBC or CBS, PAX, etc), It is my plan to try to watch it without

for short time, adding the time without it as times go by.

Lee, I think the best shows to watch are CNN, MSNBC & FOX News. They are loaded

with talk shows plus live reports from around the world. Most of the time the

person is facing the camera.

a while ago, someone mentioned he/she watched alot of talk shows to learn to

listen...... is there any suggested show to watch....... i dont usually watch

any but am willing to endure....... as long it is NOT jerry youknowwho.

I should note that these shows are live, so the practice is done without using

CC. Combine your lip-reading with the voices initially, then on occasion, close

your eyes & listen.

Sherry D. told us on deafonline about Dr. Phil. She mentioned that Dr. Phil

has a strong, clear voice. Dr. Phil McGraw was on the Oprah show and now has

his own show.
