The PABA, I think, in it makes my skin react horribly. I have not tried it in years.

Subject: Sunscreen nightmare for baby--scarey experience

My daughter told me of a friend's whose baby is about 16 months old now.

The baby is in daycare and she had sunscreen put on her (I don't know the kind). The baby didn't wake up at daycare and was rushed to the hospital. It turned out the baby rubbed her eye and it went into her eye, swelling her face and lip too, including her bloodstream.

Turns out the baby is allergic to something in the sunscreen.

I can find out the name I hope, but still be aware when using sunscreen. I never used any for my kids nor myself.....now my daughter doesn't believe as I do so not sure what she is going to do now.....................

Carol, When did this happen? How is the baby now? I know that when was little, and unfortunately in day-care, I had to sign a waiver to NOT have them put sunscreen on him. You'd think it would be the other way around. I pray that the little angel is okay now. , The baby is supposedly well now from the sunscreen experinece. The mother is very drug oriented and the poor kid has more than her share of sickness even being so young. Some mothers refuse to learn something more alternative, but it is their choice. I sure hope my daughter will choose wisely as she is not really into the drugs, but her choices sometimes are middle of the road.............. That is correct Carol. It is every ones choice on which path we choose

to walk. Nobody can walk this path for us. They can guide but it is our

choice on whether we choose to take their advice or learn from our own

mistakes. Some of us, like me for example, choose to learn from my own

mistakes and no matter what anyone tells me I have to go and find out

for myself. Some of us are just hard headed I guess.

I am quite certain that your daughter will make all the right decisions

when the time comes. At least they will be the right ones for her at

that time. There is no such thing as a wrong decision just really good

ones and not so good ones but they are all right decisions.
