Guest guest
Charlynn, Dr. Aceves asks his patients not to eat solid food the day of the fill to make sure the pouch it totally empty. Nothing other than that. Nina > > Hi everyone, > I am going for my first fill tomorrow is there any thing special I need to do??? I am starting to see the scale move again I had a couple weeks of just the same numbers, it was frustrating. I had also started a serious exercising schedule. so I am wanting to believe its because of the muscle I'm building. I was still noticing that the clothes were still getting loser. I want to welcome my sister-in-law and her momma Becky to the loosing side they had their surgery 1-26-06. you wont regret it for a minute (especially this summer when we are all hot and slim in our suits on our camping trip) Love Ya Guys!! > > > Charlynn Snoke > 236/209/155 > Lapband 11/10/06 >
Guest guest
Setji, you don't want to be too restricted or you'll be miserable. Dr. Campos only gave me .7CC and I am way too tight, I'm hoping it's only for this week, but believe me you don't want to fill like this. You want to go on your Cruise and enjoy yourself. Have fun. Is this for a reason, or is there any way to convice Dr. Campos to give a more aggressive fill? I'm worried because I'm going on a cruise to Alaska and I don't trust myself around cruise food! I've already been pretty lax about my food intake lately (eating healthy, but eating too much), exercise being my only saving grace. I won't be able to get a 2nd fill for at least 8 weeks and I'm scared I'm going to overeat myself into a weight gain if the first fill doesn't give me some restriction. I need some motivation guys! Guest guest
Thank you so much Jenni and Michel for qualming my fears. You are both right, I need to just relax and enjoy my vacation. Too tight sounds like a nightmare (I got a WASA crispbread stuck in me this morning and that was bad enough). I also don't want to become that guy on Celebrity Fit Club, Cletus Judd, who lost like 70 lbs. and now won't even go into a grocery store anymore for fear of gaining weight... he gets anxiety attacks. Yikers! I'll remember that I need to adapt to my new lifestyle. Thanks! Setje
Guest guest
Hi, not to worry! Dr. Campos will give you a good fill! He watches how quickly your pouch empties into your big stomach and bases the fill amount on that. But unlike Drs. who dont use flouro, he will not simply put a little in and play wait and see. He will give you what he feels you need for good restriction, but not too much either because that can be awful. If you are taking a cruise, you will have alot of healthy choices right at your fingertips. The best advise I can give is to never use the elevator, always take the stairs and you will get a ton of exercise. Remember, you want to have fun AND keep your weight under control. It'll be fine...enjoy!!! Deborah > > I am getting my first fill on the 7th and I've heard that the first > fill is typically very little.
