hi suzi, a friend of mine has bronchitis, chronic i think, would you

think this is something for him to get his lungs clean? thanks, rik

any advice on bronchitis is welcome, so i can help him out with some

information.

Yes, dairy, bread & sugar are the worst offenders...

then cooked foods, which are very acidic and have NO enzymes or

nutritionally redeeming qualities.

I realize that eating mostly raw is a stretch for many people

but once you do it for 2 weeks to a month, I guarantee you won't want to

look back... and if you DO have cooked foods and see just how sluggish

and awful you feel...it's not hard at all to make a choice for better health.

I like your sign off. Bronchitis is nothing more than a symptom of a

toxic body. In your friends case his body is attempting to eliminate

from the lungs and bronchii.

Most likely his diet and environment are the cause of his toxemia. I am

sorry to say that there is not much that will help until he realizes the

cause of his toxemia and decides to make the necessary changes. Anything

else is just a bandaid to cover up the symptoms.

Hi Drmom!!

I've seen an ER doctor who started me on 400mgs of

Avelox. So far I'm allergic to almost all antibiotics

but have done okay with Doxycyclene, and Ceftin. They

stated that wouldn't work for bronchitis so tried the

Avelox. Near the end of the antibiotic I still wasn't

improving much so I went to my family doctor who then

extended it for another week. I have asthma and

reactive airway disease so I'm not sure if that's why

I'm taking forever to get better. I stopped the

sulfasalazine as directed but the bronchitis is right

back up there in a flare again. Maybe its time for

them to add some Prednisone like they have tried in

the past..unless maybe it's viral what I have and an

antibiotic won't help? I've read so many disputes on

them being over prescribed and can they help

bronchitis. I'm getting ready to go in for another

visit though thats for sure:)
