The sooner you get the paperwork into the office the better...that

way if they notice something is missing or decide you need something

else you have time to get it done. Everything should be into the

office before your appointment that you have Just before surgery,

because that appointment is your final " all's clear " for surgery.

One thing I would do...after you think you have all the paperwork

turned in, call and have them look it over to make sure everything

is there. I got a call (the night before my final office visit

before surgery) saying that they needed the " actual " chest xray film

and not just the report...so I was at my PC office when they opened

having them dig up my xrays and had to hand carry them to Dr. K. at

the last minute. Calling and checking my help you avoid the last

minute panic.

My question is this: I have never had to furnish " legal papers "

legitimizing our decision not to vaccinate. I know there is an exemption

form that I can get notarized, but I'm one step away from retaining a family

attorney just to keep things like this from happening.

Legally, what ducks should I have in order? One nasty inquisition is enough

for me.

Paperwork

Hi everyone,

I have a co-worker who was banded here in the US. She just had her

first fill last week. The doctor who did her fill was not the one

that did her surgery but he did do a laproscopic appendectomy on her a

week after she was banded by the first doctor. Yikes! I asked her if

the doctor did Mexican fills. She said certainly not! He wouldn't

touch a patient who didn't have an Inamed card and copies of their

Medical Records/X rays from the Surgeon. (She is under the impression

that the Surgeons in Mexico

do not use FDA approved Inamed lap band.)

Will we receive the above mentioned paperwork post-surgery?

Thanks,

You do get all of this paperwork (xrays and inamed card). The

doctors/hospitals in mexico are similar to here in the us. The staff at the

hospital we went to in mexico was the nicest i have delt with in my whole

life. I will not deal with the doctors in the us in regard to fills. I

think that many people have this hang up about going to mexico. I think

that many people think it is primitive or something but it is pretty much

the same as here only they speak spanish there.

I, personally received a copy of my x-rays, the box in which my band came in and ON the box it's marked FDA approved with a serial number. You get a copy of your blood work, and a copy of the information from your surgery. You get all these things without requesting them or having to pay EXTRA for them, like you would in the U.S. Your experience with Dr. A, will be one that you will never forget. I don't care what anyone says, he is a dozen times better than any Dr. is the U.S!!!lindelou <lindelou@...> wrote: Hi everyone,I have a co-worker who was banded here in the US. Jessie,

You know whats funny is I asked one of the nurses how much they were paid

and it was so low that I was shocked that I got such great care. I actually

considered moving to Mexico because people are SO nice there. (I have been

to other parts of Mexico, so this was not my first time).

When I came back from surgery I told people here that I would give up my

money and belongings to have what they have there because you just cannot

buy it.
