Guest guest
Has anyone here ever tried Green Lemonade? I got it from a raw detox book and copied the recipe before I returned it to the library. I have gotten to the point where I love this stuff!! You might have to get used to the taste of green drinks which are very different than sweet carrot juice. About 5 big leaves of Romaine About 3-4 nice big frilly kale leaves A whole lemon (she says skin and all but I peel it since I haven't been getting organic lemons lately) A piece of ginger (between 1-2 inches) One or 2 apples Throw it all in the juicer and you've got Green Lemonade. I find adding some ice cubes really enhances it and makes it an authentic "hot weather drink". Gloria
Guest guest
Here’s the recipe, straight from the book…she recommends putting this first in your stomach to start your day: 1 head romaine lettuce or celery 5-6 stalks kale (any type) 1-2 apples (as needed for sweetness, recommend organic Fuji) 1 whole organic lemon (unpeeled, if organic) 1-2 inches fresh ginger (optional) Juice all! Makes one serving. Sharyn __
