Just had our blood tested and while everything came back ok on mine, I had a level of 18 for my Carbon Dioxide which they say is low. What does that mean? Also my husband had a high blood platelet count (I think over 500) and was recommended to see a doctor. What is that and should we be worried about either? Thanks Barb PS my trigylcerides were 71. My mom didn't think they could get that low, but I don't eat any refined sugar and very little natural like honey or maple syrup.

Blab-away for as little as 1¢/min. Make PC-to-Phone Calls using Messenger with Voice.

http://www.healthatoz.com/healthatoz/Atoz/ency/blood_count.jsp will tell you all about platelet counts - Platelets are the smallest blood cells. They play an important role in blood clotting and the prevention of bleeding. When a blood vessel is damaged or cut, platelets clump together and plug up the hole until the blood clots. If the platelet count is too low, a person can be in danger of bleeding in any part of the body. Check this out for carbon dioxide in the blood http://www.webmd.com/hw/health_guide_atoz/hw2343.asp I'm not real up to date on these.... Don will probably know more on this.. Suzi barb g

Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates.
