Guest guest
, LOL! Could you possibly get a new computer through vocational rehab? I know what you mean about old computers. I just received a new computer a few months ago. Before then, I was using a 5 1/2 year old computer. It finally reached the point where I could no longer read e-mail, surf the net, etc. without it locking up completely after 5 minutes of use. Guest guest
, Yuh have to have a goal, that is, a career, to get anything here. Even tho I will be volunteering at the Independent Living Center on the coast, that is not good enough. Sigh. Funny thing. If I could get a new computer, with speech, braille translation software, and scanning software, I'd be learning skills I can use there later on. I may be getting an embosser tho, which probably will get signed over to the ILC. I am afraid to load any more software on this machine but at least I could emboss files from my BLT. I got my computer in 1999. Have reformatted it several times. Its still acting up even with a fresh format this week so I suspect hardware. Sigh. *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* (seen at a restaurant) GUYS: No shirt, no service GALS: No shirt, no charge & Gimlet (Guide Dawggie) Portland, Oregon N24C 3G 8/2000 Hookup rlclark77@... http://home.comcast.net/~rlclark77/
