Guest guest
Donna - it has enzymes as well as other nutritional things that 'happen' with the fermenting. Probiotics would not have all of that... but enzymes/probiotics and kombucha WOULD!! LOL wendy Re: Re: Re: -Bernadette Donna, Rejuvalac is acidophilus. You make it by fomented wheat berries. You soak the wheat in a gallon of water for 4-5 days and then you have Rejuvalac. Guest guest
Hi , I did kombucha for about 6 months and felt a little buz from it, but when I stopped I found out that it was the caffiene in the green tea and not the kombucha that was giving me the buz. Smile. Had to go through withdrawals. Frown. I think I will try the rejuvelac. Smile. Donna Re: Re: Re: -Bernadette Donna, Rejuvalac is acidophilus. You make it by fomented wheat berries. Guest guest
>Okay, next question. How much do you drink and why not just take acidophilus. You drink a quart a day. You make it to save money I guess, I don't know. >And do you store it in the fridge and how often do you have to make it? >Thanks, >Donna Yes you store it in the fridge, you should make a gallon every four days. Guest guest
I have made rejuvelac several times......what do you do with it? To me the smell is offensive, and I don't really care for the taste. I feel like I'm drinking something that's rotten. What are its benefits? I have Ann Wigmore's books but from what I've read, there's not all that much info. in there about rejuvelac except her insisting you drink it. Thanks, Sue In a message dated 5/6/01 8:06:52 PM Eastern Daylight Time, moriam@... writes: 3. REJUVELAC: someone asked why not just eat yogurt or acidopholous (sp?) instead of rejuvelac. Well, another good thing about rejuvelac is that it is VERY VERY cheap (if you make it yourself). All you need is about a cup of wheat each time. (Plus some water etc

Guest guest
Rejuvelac Rejuvelac is really cheap, and yet provides the ferments which can help restore proper intestinal flora. Soak one cup of organic wheat--previously washed--for forty-eight hours in three cups of distilled water in a cool environment. Pour off the soaking water, but do not throw it away, as it is an extremely rich source of enzymes...this is the Rejuvelac. Drink as a health beverage, refrigerate. Use the same seed to make a second and third batch, not rinsing the seed in between. These batches need soak only twenty-four hours. Suzi What is a weed?
