Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear that. I don't get why insurance/medical financial assistance don't get that cholesteatoma is a disease that just doesn't go away--it gets worse. No one is saving money by not treating this ASAP. I hope you get the help you need. I hope it is before your life is threatened. dave > > I wrote here on this thread last year about having a cholesteatoma in my right ear that doctor said had been there for a long time. Well it has been one year and I am still dealing with it. I dont have medical insurance or the funds to pay for the surgery and have tried all suggestions for help only to be turned down. I live with daily ear pain and a feeling like tugging in my neck. Also have constant ringing in my ear and frequent bleeding and infection from ear. I use ciprodex ear drops as that is all I can do. I do worry about the damage that it is causing but at this time I am not sure there is anything else I can do. I also have lupus and have frequent flare up of symptoms and am on many immune suppressing meds for that. Hopefully I can figure something out in the near future cause cant get care right now until I am in a life threatning situation. >
