Kelli, We are all so proud of you!!! 55 poundsKelli <psichikel@...> wrote: Today, I finally got my butt in to get weighed and here are the results...I started out prior to surgery 360lbs, and today they figure me at 305, which is 55lbs to date that I have lost. My surgery was 1/27/06...wooo hoooo!!!!! I've been working out every day, when it's not raining I am walking close to 3miles a day and when it does rain I do 40mins on the bike. My goal is to be down to 250lbs by August/Sept, 200lbs by my anniversary date :) I haven't been down to 200lbs since I was in high school, that will be a nice victory. I am also working towards getting certified by Obesity Help to become a support group leader in my

hometown, wish me luck on that! We have one support group and I dont know how active they are but I am trying to get one closer to where I live, and hopefully get pre-ops as well as post-ops! I have two more sessions to complete before I am certified. Those of you interested in getting a support group in your area, check out Obesityhelp.com and check out obesity help chapters...they'll have information on how to get started. My support group will be for all WLS in US and in Mexico. :)Kelli360/305/250/155Virginia

Thanks Virginia!! I wish everyone the same success...it's not be

easy believe me, I've peddled more on that darn stationary bike than

I'd care to but it's helped and I've walked quite a bit to keep it

going. :)

Thanks Penny!!! I'm working my butt off literally!!! It's been a challenge but I'm doing the best I can. :) I'll update again in two weeks, I like to have my weight done at the clinic to get an accurate reading, and I told myself only every two weeks to weigh in so I can have a good surprise :) Thanks again...good luck to you and everyone on here. >> Yeaaaaaa, Kelli!!!!!> What motivation! Thanks ...you've been such an inspiration to me that alot of my choosing to do the band and strive hard to lose the weight is due to your success and the success of others here on this board. Everyone just uplifts me everytime I come on here. As for the support group, I'm a bit nervous cause I'll be dealing with people with RNY which is the majority and then to contend with biases on Mexico that will be interesting, however I wont be alone on this I have two gals that have had the RNY that can help me with those issues. Anywho, thanks for the well wishes and I am just so AMAZED at your weight loss...I mean goodness you're a totally different person...as in physical of course, but my gosh I am just so HAPPY for you...gosh, that is such an acheivement. I go to your sight quite often just to refocus myself into working out because I know the ultimate goal is to get down as close to my target weight as possible. Keep up the good work! >> Kelli, you are my idol. YOU GO GIRL!!
