Guest guest
, I have often said that the most beautiful messages come from the spouses of those who have been implanted. This message is an example of what I mean and I want to thank you for taking the time to express your wonderful feelings on this. I know that when a husband or wife gets the implant, it has an impact on the relationship between them and the entire family. This account from you is beautiful. You have blessed this list with something very special tonight. I hope you post more because you are a very important part of the journey Evel has taken and a huge part of his success with his implant. Thank you, Alice The quality of all our lives will be enriched because of this gift. > >
Guest guest
Hi ! What a beautiful post you sent! I love this forum because of the many nice people who post and share their experiences. It was really nice to get to " meet " you via the forum. Since my 2003 hook up, I have been looking for the right words to express what I feel about my CI. Like Evel, WOW comes to my mind a lot as does AWESOME! My family and I are in awe with what my CI has given me. It's better than any hearing aid I have ever worn and I'm just amazed with how much easier it is to communicate compared with before hook up. And I just love the look on people's faces when I do respond back when they didn't expect me to. It's awesome! About the phone, I have been told that most people don't make phone calls just to hear the other person talk. LOL, I can't help it. It always blows me away that yes, I am understanding my brother or sister (or in law) in another state so I tend to forget to chat away due to a big grin on my face. Best wishes to you and Evel and your kids for a healthy and happy future! Patti Surgery Day 11/25/02 (What A Day!) Hook Up Day 1/2/03 (A Happy Day!)
