They too made me pay, I had to pay the full 300 bucks. Charged it!!

It is almost as if we are at thier mercy. I called Fill Cenetrs and complained

about their center in Kansas and thier resolution was to do it again this

Friday. Like an idiot, I am going because I cant afford another fill at a

different location. I will be quite honest... I imagine this woman who did my

fill is pissed that I complained so do I really want her sticking me?? NO WAY...

but again we are at thier mercy. There has to be a way to get other providers on

board to do these fills. The door has been left open for providers to over

charge us, neglect us and know that we have virtually no options and will have

to come back. A solution to this problem? I dont know, but surely there are

enough of us just in this group alone to brainstorm what could/shoud be done.

Sorry for ranting, but I am fed up with these Fill Centers and the lack of

customer service. It is as if it is a black market, doing fills in back alley's.

When I called to schedule my first fill the receptionist !

had no idea what I was talking about. She said we are a podiatry clinic. After

much confusion, I dont believe the woman who filled me knew what she was doing

either!!!

I am so sorry you had such an awful experience and I hope you and I are isolated

in such.

Im sure many of you have great fill doc's, Im just saying this procedure is

getting way too common for these types of things to happen...

I think that should also call Fill Centers USA

and complain. What can it hurt? This is the only way

we will get things to improve! Being assertive and

refusing to pay all but the office call is the only

other choice you have and I hope everyone will do that

too if they don't get service! Even the office call

should not be paid if they fail but.....

I am sooo glad I found a decent fill Dr. I hope both

of you can find someone that fits your needs a lot

better than this!

PS Maybe people should call Fill Centers USA and ask

if they have had any complaints at the center they are

considering going to before making an appointment. If

they get enough calls they will get tired of it and

maybe tighten up their standards!

Calif because I want to go back to Dr. A for my fills. We are going to move to Nevada this summer hopefully and then I think I am going to just fly into san diego if I can afford to do so. Hi I'am so sorry about your fill I have never had one, I'm writing you because I know this would be a drive for you but here in Ft. Lauderdale there's a Dr. he is a fill doctor and also a surgeon of bypass/lapband patients he charges 150.00usd for fills I'm not sure wether its under fluoro or not. He's a very good doctor I was going to let him perform surgery on me but insurance company denied me but after Dr.A performs surgery on me. He will be my follow up doctor. I don't post often as I have been doing tons of overtime at work.

Sorry to hear your horror story. I had my 1st fill about 6 weeks out from

surgery. I have been very restricted, only being able to eat tiny amounts of

food(a snack pac of 4 tiny slices of cheese & turkey is two meals for me).

I try to drink a protein shake for breakfast and that takes hours to finish

12 oz. But I have not been hungry at all and only a little bit fills me. A small

pack with tuna (the little one) fills me for hours. I do not miss food nor do I

think I will need another fill. So I may be one of the few who is going to

only need one fill ( hope not cuz I would love to see Dr A and the staff).

I live in Las Vegas and drive down to see Dr A. It is only about

4 1/2 hours drive almost straight south of Vegas. So easy!

Much luck to all of you-do not get discouraged. Sometimes it is slow going(I went up and

down especially when I got close to 200-it took over a month of 201.8 then 202.2, then

200.8 and so on) before I got anywhere near this wonderful number!! I SOOOOO love my

has been very supportive about my whining! He tells

though.

I am also glad you mentioned how close LV is to

Mexicali. I had no idea! I used to teach in West

Wendover, in northern Nevada. I have many friends in

LV and it is not very expensive to fly there from

here. Maybe I can have a nice visit and then head

down to Mexicali for a fill if I need another one!

I hope you don't need another fill--that would be

great.

I have many family members in Colorado. A great aunt in Englewood and

a cousin in Poncho Springs ( Salida area). You are not far from the

Wyoming border. Are you coming to Vegas soon? We could get lunch

Please don't get discouraged-you did not gain this weight overnight and

it is so much better to lose it slowly so your body can adjust than to lose

it rapidly. Hey, I already feel tons better and my knees don't hurt and

I don't even need help to get off the floor anymore!WooHoo!! Be patient

and kind to yourself (as if you were talking to a freind-aren't you your friend?)

and you will feel better. The time passes quickly so we should never be in too

big a hurry. Gotta stop and smell the flowers, look at the clouds and scenery.

I am not sure how much I got the first fill. I am sure it is

on my paperwork somewhere. Dr A does it with fluro

so he can see how the liquid goes down. I feel great

and have lost 48 lbs since 10/12/05 so I am happy. I didn't

put it on overnight and want to lose it slowly so my

body adjusts properly. Still I am not hungry and seldom

even think of food. I try to drink my protein drink in

the morning and maybe some soup or small pieces

of chicken or tuna/salmon. Only a few bites fill me full.

I try to eat something at least every 4-6 hours. I guess

I am lucky I got to my sweet spot the first try! But we

are all different. I hope everyone has as much luck.

I would not change a thing about this whole process.

Going to Dr A was the best decision -he is awesome.

His whole staff is awesome.

Hello Bandsters, Last week you'll experienced a very angry . After

having that horrible unsuccessful fill attempt I called the founder of

the fill center in Pasco County here in Fl. As of 4/4/06 I received a

fill under fluro by one of the founders partners. He was very pleased

with DR A'S work. He complimented him and stated " job well done " . You

know that in life that is a rariety. Lastly, I wasn't charged the full

price I was charged as if I was a returing client at 200.00 a fill

instead of that 300.00 price I was told that I would have to pay. I can

say that I was impressed with this office. The only bad thing was it

wasn't Dr A.

After having that horrible unsuccessful fill attempt I called the founder of the fill center in Pasco County here in Fl. As of 4/4/06 I received a fill under fluro by one of the founders partners. He was very pleased with DR A'S work.

He complimented him and stated " job well done". You know that in life that is a rariety. Lastly, I wasn't charged the full price I was charged as if I was a returing client at 200.00 a fill instead of that 300.00 price I was told that I would have to pay. I can say that I was impressed with this office. The only bad thing was it wasn't Dr A.
