Guest guest
Oops, had my surgery on the 9th and returned home on the 11th. All my days are a blur! Thanks,Ally Mexicali Chicken Broth Just back from Mexicali. Had my surgery 12/11/06. Had an absolutely great trip! No problems at all. Very little soreness. Amazing experience - all GOOD! Does anyone have the recipe for the chicken broth? I've never tasted the chicken broth I've made in the past because I was just adding it to casseroles or boiling noodles in it. So not sure what it tastes like but the broth in Mexicali is DELICIOUS!!! Definitely pack a thermos with you to bring some home. I've lost 5 pounds already!!!! Moving seemed to really make it pop out. The atibiodics were killer on my stomach though!! I may be allergic to amoxycillan - I know my baby boy is. The Gas X dissolvable strips help too. Guest guest
If anyone is interested I have bunch of Ladies Home Journal Mags from the late 1800s when they used to make everything the old fashioned way. There were recipes for Chicken Soup and Chicken broth. If anyone is interested I am happy to post them. The recipe sounds very similar to the way your hair stylest makes it. The only difference I recall specifically is Cilantro. That was not in the recipe. > > > > Just back from Mexicali. Had my surgery 12/11/06. Had an > absolutely great trip! No problems at all. Guest guest
I'm not a bandster but will be a gastric by pass in Jan, but I also have Interstitial Cystitis, ugly bladder condition that takes away all the good food, and I sure hope I can eat that broth or I'm in deep stuff, But sure am gonna give it a try while there, and I'm doing a lot of sampling now of protein drinks (I always have to stick to vanilla, cause I can't have any other flavors because of the dang IC) so I'm seeing which ones my bladder tolerates so I'll be that much ahead when I get my surgery in Jan. I love cilantro, I just don't know if I can have it. If I find out I can you will here my wahooo all across the us
