Guest guest
Hey Deborah, It is amazing how everyone is different. Are you drinking with your meals? If not, you may need a fill. I know after my 2nd fill I rarely get hungry. It has made a huge difference. I don't think you should get hungry an hour after eating. How many fills have you had? Nina is the expert. I would call her and talk with her and decide. I wish you the best of luck!!! Fill Question> > > I had my first fill about 7 weeks ago. After my period I could only > get liquids down. Then you will be in search of the elusive "sweet spot" again.// Is this normal or do I need a fill again.//We all have our good days (when we can eat) and our bad days (when we can not eat). This is just the band adjusting with our bodies. Since you just had your fill, I would give it a couple of weeks. You don't want to be too tight.7/18/05280/180/140 Michel Talk is cheap. Guest guest
Hi Kim, My fill doctor request 4 weeks between most fills but will make exceptions. My daughter had her first fill Aug 30 and could eat a horse!!,I swear!! I gave up my fill appt for her to go back for "more" fill on Sept 13th and she STILL isn't there. She eats a little "less", but still way too much!! She has 2cc and can still eat a whole burrito, whole chicken sandwich.ect....unbelievable to me, I "slime" just thinking about eating a whole anything! LOL...I only have 1.6cc (over the course of 3 fills) and had such restriction with the first soup & cracker were my staples for months!! The 3rd was done in Mexico with Fluro and kicked in about 10 days later and is still doing the job! If the weight loss stops, you can eat normal portions++ than talk to your fll doctor...don't want to waste time "idling" if you don't have to. Good luck....Dana --------- Fill Question> > > > I had my first fill ten days ago and have not felt any restriction > yet. Guest guest
Hi Rosie..stay on liquids and soft foods for a while. Eggs are not to friendly to some of us...right Jenni?:-) After a fill, eggs can "clog your drain" so to speak, as might meats even well chewed they may cause a problem until you loosen-up a good bit! Soft stews, creamy soups, over-steamed veggies, soft/pureed fruits, Ice cream......all the "don't's on the list will work best until you loosen up. I have slimmed & pb'd on yogurt and still do even after I loosen- up so some foods may always be difficult. I can however eat bread, chicken & steak when my fill is right...I love bread!! Give it a few weeks, always go back to soft if you have a problem with solids.......go back to liquids if you have problems with soft. I live by this rule!! It has helped me everytime!! 6 pounds in less than a week...oh yeah!!! Dana -------------- Original message -------------- From: " Judge" <thevajudge@...> Hey Rose, I got my send fill today. It was 1.5cc now I have a total of 2.5cc in my 4cc band. I DEFINTELY feel the restriction. Guest guest
Hi Penny, We have the chicken stands here in land at Walmart..2-3$ It's called "Chick-can" stand. We make it on the grill too!! It is Tender & Tasty!!! Dana -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Penny Manville" <pmanvill@...> Here it is, you can find other ones on the internrt too. Sometimes its called beer butt chicken. We never have any beer around so I use pop in a can and it works real well too. The chicken is really moist and tender done this way! Here in our area I cook what we call a "drunk chicken" but I have found you can use many many things besides beer. Take a can (coke/beer/water) empy 1/2 of the liquid out,,,put bell peppers, onions, garlic,,crawfish boil Or pepper (basically any seasonings you want) cut up into it. Take a whole chicken & Put the can (yuk don't know how else to say it ) up the chicken rear.put a whole small onion in the neck. Stand it up in your oven in a cake/cookie pan & bake for approx 1 1/2 to 2 hours (depending on the size) @350.....it is extremely moist and then when you reheat it all you have to do is wrap it in foil add a little bit of water to the bottom of the foil and reheat in oven. Or if y ou use a microwave, add little water cover and microwave (about a tablespoon)...we have can stands here in our area but I don't know if they can be bought outside Louisiana. Delicious...each liquid gives it a different taste...You also season the chicken...I use Tony Cacheries seasoning (also to our area) but you can use garlic, salt, pepper, onion salt,Chicken seasoning just about anything.Penny>> Penny...> > >>'s drunk chicken recipe<<> > What is this recipe?
