Graham Dr. H 1/4/05 Actor or Actress star My mom and I were sitting around chatting about who could be the star that is having weight loss surgery. She came up with Sally Struthers. I told him we're serving a Cornish hen and two baked potatoes and that would feed us all. I think I have them scared. By the time we are through, the five of us will lose the equivilent of four normal sized people. Too bad we couldn't claim that extra weight as a tax deduction. 01/04/05 Dr. H Joplin 202/142/??? Guest guest Posted September 19, 2005 Report Share Posted September 19, 2005 I had surgery almost 5 years ago -- about 7 weeks before Thanksgiving! I also attended a several course rehearsal dinner for a friend at a month postop. I thoroughly enjoyed the rehearsal dinner. It was a " family style " very up scale Italian place and we ate over the course of several hours. A bite here, a bite there I was happy. As for Thanksgiving (and my birthday by the way!) I enjoyed all of my favorites - in small doses. I " mourned " the food a little at the end of the day, somehow wishing I could have done it more " justice " - but was really not deprived in any way.
