Guest guest Posted July 7, 2004 Report Share Posted July 7, 2004 I have Norrie's syndrome and it is the cause of my blindness and deafness. I also have a nephew who has Norrie's. Guest guest Posted July 7, 2004 Report Share Posted July 7, 2004 Hello and all, I, too, have Norrie's syndrome and amm born totally blind, that is, without any light perception. My hearing started to go down when I was about 30 and, at age 59, it is severe hearing loss in my best ear. I have a brother on this list, plus two cousins and one oncle affected with the disease and all five were born blind, only one having some light perception at birth.
