Hello ,

Thanks for the wishes but, as you know from another list, I am an old

Canadian from Montreal. And thank you for referring me to Aman. I will know

a bit more what to expect when my brother Jacques gets his implants on

August 24th this year.

Hugs,

Jean

I have Norrie's syndrome and it is the cause of my blindness and

deafness. I also have a nephew who has Norrie's. He is 24 and now has a

severe hearing loss. He is also blind. Larry

Hello and all,

I, too, have Norrie's syndrome and amm born totally blind, that is, without

any light perception. My hearing started to go down when I was about 30

and, at age 59, it is severe hearing loss in my best ear. I have a brother

on this list, plus two cousins and one oncle affected with the disease and

all five were born blind, only one having some light perception at birth.
