Hi All!

It has been a long time since I posted. I've been rather busy in the past 6

months. I meant to post at my one year anniversary, but I never got around

to it. As of today it has been 14 months since I had my MGB. On May 22,

2002 I weighed 304 lbs. and was an insulin dependent diabetic at the age of

27. I wore size 26/28 clothes. It has been an amazing 14 months!! I now

weigh 163 lbs. and am wearing 12/14 Petites! I am no longer diabetic. I

feel great!! I have lots of energy and am gaining more self-confidence and

self-esteem everyday. Two weeks ago, I went to Six Flags Over Georgia with

my husband, his brother, and his girlfriend. I was the only one who was not

exhausted by 3:00 PM that afternoon and I was able to fit comfortably in all

the rides!!! The MGB has changed my life in many ways! Last July, I was

nauseated and sick. I was diagnosed with H.Pylori. I started the meds but

didn't get any better. I took a pregnancy test just for the heck of it and

found out that I was indeed pregenant. I went to to my OB and found out that

I was 12 weeks along which meant I had been pregnant when I had the MGB. On

January 14th, we were blessed with a healthy MGB baby boy. He is my miracle

baby. We had lost two previously from complications with diabetes. I now

have two beautiful boys and thanks to the MGB I feel that I can be the

mother they deserve. I thank God everyday that I found Dr. R and CLOS.

Thanks!
