Guest guest
by Alice Eve Cohen Just to let you know this book is NOT for everyone, but even with my knowing that I let you decide:). I wouldn't want it any other way too. It touches all the hot topics of today, abortion, late term pregnancy, adoption, from being misdiagnosed to being pregnant later in one's life (such as in your mid-40's), God, religion, pro-choice, pro-life. Still, I felt moved to post it as it is touching in this sense as well, that of being a fellow human being of hers, whether or not you agree with Ms. Cohen or with me for that matter. Because she is not seeking to change you or am I, but it is as she calls it, a memoir. Thus, take it as that or leave it too if you so choose. But, grady, what is the tie to us? She gave birth to a Silver daughter named, Eliana, and although she was small and asymetrical as are most RSS kids, she received growth hormone is of average height today.... Still, her point is this, I feel, life is not always black and white, because it's also filled with Elainas and us. And though Eliana and us may not be black and white as it what was expected or even what OUR parents were told as to what we would be, we are still beautiful:) but perhaps, just unpredictable;). hehe Article on Ms. Cohen's book, with pics of her-one with her daughter: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/11/books/11cohen.html?em and here: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/11/books/11cohen.html?_r=1 Ms. Cohen on You Tube talking about it here: enjoy or don't enjoy, your choice, as always:), grady
