Weight & Braces coming off

Hi folks -

I am SO excited tonight! (well besides me being at work, testing ASE

certification applicants - yes mom- I spelled it out for you - LOL!)

I went to the orthodontist this week. I have been given his official word that

my braces are coming off on November 21st - 10 days from now - yes, I'm

counting, it's only been three years and 2 months since I got them on and I'm

ready to part with them. I won't be 100% tho, I am going to have gum surgery on

the 8th of December to sculp my upper gumline, she will lengthen my two front

teeth and tighten my upper lip some so my smile isn't so " gummy " ! Then I get to

have the whitening treatment 6 weeks later and finally veneers on at least my

two front teeth - maybe 4! I can't wait till it's all over - but the end is in

site. Hopefully by Mid February, I'll have my $10,000 smile complete! Thank

goodness for insurance - they are supposed to cover most of the periodontist's

work and it covers about $1500 of my braces (a very small portion!) Anyone who

had or has braces or kids in them must know how good it feels to know the end of

this process is nearly over. I can't wait!!!

Also - after beng at a stand still for nearly 2 months - the scales are moving

again - Ive lost 3 pounds this week and I'm down 183 pounds - now weigh 207 and

the hope is now there that I will be below 200 by Christmas! I want to go to

Florida and see my dad, sister, and aunt - tell them that I'm 199 pounds or less

and suprise the heck out of them - if they even recognize me- they have not seen

me at all since my surgery!!! I could have a lot of fun with this!!

Well - I had to gush a bit!! Thanks for listening (reading!)

I'll keep you posted and I'm sure I'll have pictures of me soon after the braces

come off!~

Congratulations on the braces coming off AND the weight loss! I can feel

Atta girl, Michele!

You are doing great. Just try to eat " clean " and stay as active as

you can, and you WILL lose more. You are not done losing yet.

I cannot wait to see you at 175!
