Rose hips have long been used as a sour fruit but it is now recognized as a rich source of vitamin C. Sweet can be made from Rose hip puree and syrup made from the leaves. Medicinally, Rose leaves are a mild laxative and their astringent property makes them good for healing wounds. The seeds are diurectic and it also has a tonic effect.
