I just got back from the two big groceries and the health food store in the next town over. I bought about $100 worth of organic foods to start filling the pantry/fridge with staples (rices, pastas, tomato sauces, eggs, raw sugar, etc). I got a few other items (like some silken tofu for my smoothies & fruits/veggies) too, of course. Anyways, still got lots to get done today, just had to drop you all a note telling you how good I did today! You guys are such good inspiration! I'll probably be on here later tonight...

Be sure to get some clear liquid protein. We can also have real

juice that's clear, like apple juice (no citrus right now) and sugar

free popsicles. I've been freezing Crystal lite in little cube

trays. I went several days without protein when I first got home

and had difficulty sleeping because I was so hungry. Some people

don't like the taste of the clear protein so the man at the health

food store suggested I put just a little sweetner in it. I imagine

you could also put a little Crystal lite powder in it.

You can have any soup as long as you've strained the vegies or

noodles or whatever out of it and it is see through (not cream

soups). So you can have wonton (if you like it) - of course you

can't have the onion or wonton. The best part, right? :-) I found

it's best to have a variety because this is getting to be a long two

weeks (on clear liquids). So I got several different flavors of

everything!

I got my band 10 days ago and I've lost 13 lbs. Just four more days

of the clear liquids!

I wish you all the best. It's pretty exciting.

Cheryl, Thanks for the info...I have been making a list of all the tips and must haves from the folks in this group! Sounds like I should start taste-testing that clear protein stuff. What is a clear protien? Is it a drink? If so, where did you get it? Thanks again! Kimmamalibby8 <mamalibby8@...> wrote: Be sure to get some clear liquid protein.
