Guest guest
Hey Rob...Shireen...... and All Thanks for sharing.........we are here to learn and share. ....I have been reading this site daily.......and I learn daily.....so the old saying "you cant teach an old dog new tricks" is not true........this old dog is learning every day LOL I had said "perhaps I should remain quiet as I did not wish to misinform others" I was wrong in that thinking........because now I clearly see as a group rooted in common ground that we stand together in sharing, support and correcting when and if necessary. Thank You to each and every one of you here for being here. Rob <rawatson@...> wrote: You're both ( & Shireen) kinda rightish. The "-itis" suffix merely means an inflamation. E.g. tonsilitis is an inflammation of the tonsil/s. Likewise conjunctivitis is simply an inflammation of the conjunctiva - no matter what that inflammation is caused by, whether allergy or dryness or infection or onion-peeling competitions or wind irritation or too much Scotch again last night or anything else. Hence the redness, wateryness and swollenness etc - all signs of inflammation, and all still called conjunctivitis. Not really a disease in itself, but rather a symptom of whatever caused it, which is where the various listed types (as per St Luke's web site) come from.Rob> > Shireen> > Thank You for sharing. All I've done for 3 days is wash my eye with warm water. The pain has lessened but it's still very itchy and red and there's a small blister in my eye. I don't know if it's bacterial or viral and don't know whether to start the drops so wonder what you think. +++Hi , You were wise to not fill the prescription since it is toxic (poisonous) to your body like all drugs, which cause more health issues. Guest guest
Bee, thank you for answering me email. I have been on your program for a few years, on and off, meaning I always eat organic food, mostly protein, vegetables and fat but I go through periods of cheating (and I don't take all the supplements). Lately the cheating has gotten worse, mainly some wheat and potato chips. I don't eat any processed food ever other than those. I don't take any medication and don't want to use the drops but I just wanted to make sure that I'm not going to cause more damage by not treating it. Thanks again, In a message dated 5/2/2011 10:00:33 A.M. Guest guest
When I first joined the group, I emailed you about supplements and you said people would get better on your program without taking them but it would just take longer. Guest guest
There is no way I can come up with an email I received 4 or more years ago but I asked and received your reply and was happy to hear you say it since I've never liked taking a lot of supplements. I do take some. In a message dated 5/2/2011 11:12:56 A.M.
