Joanie,

This is the follow-up police. Please make sure you submit your online

form for 3 month follow-up. If this has already been done, thank you in

advance.

Three months and 50 pounds gone!

OK, so I was purposely NOT weighing myself...my loss had slowed down,

and I

just didn't want to obsess over it. In general, I tolerate all foods

well,

and sometimes I have a pretty good appetite. (strangely, at time, I

have NO

appetite and get full after 2 bites...go figure) At any rate, I decided

to

wait until my 3 month anniversary, which is today. And I'm down exactly

50

pounds, which I think is just about average. I remember back in May, I

told

myself that I'd like to lose 50 pounds before heading back to pharmacy

school. Then, of course, I got greedy and told myself that I wanted to

lose

60 pounds. This was after the first month, when I lost nearly a pound a

day!

I am down from tight size 26 clothes to 22 on the bottom, and sometimes

even

smaller than that on top (shrinking boobies). I am back to exercising,

both

at Curves, and on my own. I just got Dance Dance Revolution, and have

been

having a blast dancing in the basement! I'm doing sit-ups. Doggie is

getting walked again. Life is pretty good.

The true test will be this Monday, when I go back to school...will I fit

into the seats? Will the pull down desks now fit over my gut? Will

anyone

notice the loss? (it's possible they won't...I was wearing " camouflage "

clothes at my heaviest.)

Ideally, I will lose another 30 pounds by Christmas, but that may be too

much to hope for. Guess I'll just take it one day at a time, and

continue

weighing myself on a monthly basis. Took measurements, and they didn't

go

down that dramatically this past month, but my clothes are fitting much

better...I'll go with the " pant-o-meter " to determine how I'm losing.

That's it for now. Just wanted to give a quick progress report. Hope

the

rest of you are doing well!

Ok, , I cringe everytime I read these reminders, so this time I thought

I would share my thoughts. This isn't intended to be personal, but it used

to feel really personal to me when I was one of the unlucky ones that was

not losing. You always seem to send these out when someone is doing really

well, which is GREAT, but why don't you also ask people who are STRUGGLING

with weight gain or poor losses to also submit a follow-up so that your data

is an accurate reflection of our actual experience. This isn't directed at

you personally, honestly, I know you are just doing your job, but why is it

ONLY requested for GOOD results...

Still feeling the sting!

V who FINALLY, with the help of a revision is getting there!!!

Joanie, congratulations on the loss and your 3 month anniversary!!

Good luck in school. 30 lbs seems pretty reasonable for the next 4

months--hope yo get there!
