Guest guest
Michele, I would like to echo what this other MGBer just said. Do fight for your rights. When I divorced my husband he never paid the court-ordered child support or put the money he was ordered to set aside in a special account to pay for my daughters' education. I did what I thought was take the high road and didn't pursue him. I built up a good career through the years and was able to take care of my daughters myself and felt I was a good role model for them. Imagine my surprise when as an adult my older daughter told me she had always been angry about my not making her father pay what he was supposed to and considered me a wimp. So before the situation gets out of hand, I just want to tell you that you should insist on adequate support and sharing of expenses, including education. You and your children will be better off if both of you play fair. Doris
