vellucci blown off yet again

Well folks this one was the most difficult of all so far. I got a call at 6

pm from this guy indicating that he had a busy day and since it was a long

ride to my house, we could just " do it another time " .

Of course I immediately wanted to blast him, but my therapist has told me

that " FU " should not be my first response to someone when they anger me. I

told him that I wish he had called earlier so that I could have joined my

friends in Durham for dinner. That I had blown off work and my friends and

now I am stuck home alone. he had the nerve to say to me " well, me too " I

said I have got to go, good bye.

I had to sit on the couch for one hour in the dark just to compose myself.

The worst part is the humiliation at work when I come in on Monday and

everyone askes me how my date went. I give up, I can't take this pain and

rejection, it's not even worth it.
