My husband had a severe case of poison oak and developed rashes all over his arms, lower legs and chest area that were itching so bad, there was oozing - he was so desperate, he even considered going to ER for a shot of cortisone even though he is very using any drugs. We had some Aloe Vera Gel in the house and he tried that as a last resort after trying many different over the counter products advertised for poison oak. It worked great on the itching and the poison oak.
