Guest guest
, I am just curious, have you been getting a hard time from post-op people or from other members of WW. I have considered going back to WW or OA or something like that for the support and to help me make nutritional choices. My main concern has been that the members of these groups would resent me being there if they new I had surgery. I have been members of both groups in the past. I guess I worry about people thinking I took the easy way out by having surgery. Now mind you, I don't feel I took he easy way out, but I do believe that there are those out there that do believe that I did. I'm just not sure if I would feel like I could share at these groups. Of course, WW is not really a meeting that you share a lot in like OA is. I'm just curious as to how other members of WW have been treating you. I think it is great that you have taken responsibility for your food choices and have not thought of this surgery as the answer to all " our " problems. I know it is just a tool for me. That is why I think going back to one of these meetings would be good for me too. Keep up the good work and let me know how people at WW have reacted to you having surgery if they know you have had it. Bonded by our experience, strength and hope Rhonda MGB - 11/30/00 279/216/???
