Guest guest
I think they have found out in Sweden that full spectrum light bulbs work well for depression from lack of sun. Using these mostly for all indoor lighting. I'll have to think it over. Maybe I'll just move to Arizona instead of taking up milk drinking. Shari
Guest guest
Shari, I take a vitamin D caps because up here (Ferndale, me) the winter sun doesn't make D anyway. I hope I get something from the caps, figure some is better than none... "They" say around here you have to make as much D as you can from the sun in the warmer months and store it up. Guest guest
Your skin does not make Vit D in sunlight unless it has the natural oils still on it. So when you shower every day and wash away those oils, you can't make Vit D if you sunbathe nude for 14 hours. Shari ____________________________________ Hi Shari – my thoughts exactly!! I am not a milk drinker either. And I think the only reason milk has vitamin D is because it has been added to it, just like a man-made vitamin D pill, only in liquid form. Folks, is this correct, or does milk straight out of the cow have Vitamin D, but not enough of it, and that’s why it’s added? I always wondered about that. You can also get fortified cereal, etc. with Vit. D, but it’s still only a man-made vitamin. Not the real stuff. I want the real stuff, but don’t know where it’s found, except the sun. In this area, WNY, we have had two straight weeks with no sun, so where can I find vit. D?
