Hey , I would suggest the nerve formula in the files under Dr. and Schulze. also MSM, see Message 30133 Suzi <phoward@...> wrote: Howdy - my stepdaughter Kim has had a really rough couple of years - she was thrown from a horse in the fall of 2003. Her Dad (My husband) died in December of 2003 and then she was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2004 - she did have a double mastectomy with chemo. The fall from the horse apparently cracked some ribs and tore lots of muscle in the rib and back area and then with the surgery she had lots of muscle and tissue damage in

the same area. Kim still is dealing with severe deep muscle and tendon pain. I am sending her some deep tissue repair oil but was wondering about anything else that would help her out. Her diet is OK - not great - eats lots of fruits and veggies - some coffee and some meats - mostly chicken and wild game - elk and venison. She does drink lots of water and no soda pop - quit smoking in 2003. If we can get some of the pain down so she can sleep and function better I believe then she would be more willing to look into some fasting and cleanses.

Probably much better with than without in her case. Yes, it would be

quite appropriate. Another thing that might be good for the pain would

be Una d' Gato and white willow in tincture form. Remember though that

pain is a necessary part of healing and suppressing pain does not

necessarily help the condition. It will allow the patient to receive a

modicum of relief though. Some serious massage would be very good for

her utilizing oils that are indicated for her condition.

A very good thing for her to do is to eat lots and lots of fresh tender

greens all raw. Cut out the mucus forming foods for now and stick to

mostly fruits, a little nuts and seeds and the greens. Taking a load of

her digestive system will free up energy for helping with the healing

and such. Therefore, it might be a good idea for her to eat her fruits

and greens blended. Less digestion that way. Notice, I did not say

juiced. She needs the fiber to slow down absorption of the sugars so as

not to spike the blood sugar and over stress the pancreas.

, Sounds like you have a good handle on it. I'll be sending lots of prayers and positive energy her way, and yours too. Something I thought of. I occassionally use the Nerve Sedative Formula for anxiety. When I had my herbalist blend it for me the first time, she asked if someone just had surgery or was in chronic pain. Apparently it would be a powerful pain killer as well. Here is the formula, in case it is not in the Files....... Nerve Sedative Formula2 - parts Valerian Root2 - parts Lobelia Seed

Pods2 - parts Passion Flower1 - part Hops Flowers1 - part Black Cohosh1 - part Blue Cohosh1 - part Skullcap1 - part Wild YamRemember a 'part' is a measurement by volume = handful, cup, tablespoon, etc. Peace, love, laughter “I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people

Essiac would be good right now... in fact I've had several tell me that it helps with pain also. Would essiac be appropriate at this stage??

Thank you and all who are answering. Kim is my stepdaughter and my "Best Friend" she is living in South Dakota and I am in Utah. The rbs from the fall were never addressed or given time to heal with all the other stuff she was going through. They now have her on a Tens unit a couple of times during the day and I was looking for something she could use or take during the inbetween times. All the suggestions and ideas from this group is wonderful.

I am so happy that you and your family are woking things out. I am praying for you to get thru this as you are a very sweet, intelligent, kind man and you deserve all the health and happiness that you can get.

P.S. Ever think of moving to rural Utah??? no work here but I have 2 extra bedrooms you could have. LOL
