Zinc Supplements/Hair Loss

Hi gang,

I'm sure like most of you I read Dr.R's post yesterday about Zinc helping

with hair loss. I RAN to GNC and bought Zinc 100, came home took two and

this morning took another two with my morning pile of vitamins. In about 30

minutes I was violently throwing up (on I-85 headed to work) and could barely

get it together to pull off to a gas station. I stayed in the gas station

for about 40 minutes throwing up horribly until I was able to make it back

home. I called and spoke to one of Dr.R's nurses who said that I may not

react to Zinc well (and others out there won't either) so they recommended to

start with zinc slowly and not mix it with other meds. Since it is a metal

everyone reacts differently.......please start slowly it will really save you

a horrible day!

Thanks for the infromation. I ran out to get Zinc to, but have yet taken it.

I do know on my bottle it says take with food.

Ohhh Nooo ! I hate to think of you suffering like that.

Are you going to try again? If so, I hope it goes down and stays

there this time!
