are your eye lids hot? I mean hot to your eyeballs? is your neck hot to the touch on the back of your hand?

either one can show fever. My eyes feel like fire when I get fever. I also catch a chill. I always know when I am ovulating because even the slight increase in temp I can feel in my eyelids.

Without a thermometer I'm not sure, however, temperature of 103 F. A rectal temperature reading is generally 1 degree Fahrenheit Depending on what's causing your fever, additional signs and symptoms may include: Sweating Shivering Headache Muscle aches Lack of appetite Dehydration General weakness Very high fevers, between 103 and 106 F, may cause hallucinations, confusion, irritability and even convulsions. This is the only info I have other than having someone else check to see if you are rather warm... Try a epsom or ginger salts bath to sweat out the toxins and the fever possibly. If you have the mercury thermometer, stick it under your tongue and leave

it for 3 minutes. Take it out of your mouth and put it under a

strong light (desk lamp, floor lamp) with the numbers facing up, toward

you. Slowly rotate the thermometer under the light and you should

be able to see the mercury and the number it went to while under your

tongue. If you have drank anything cold or drank any water, wait at

least 15 minutes for your mouth to return to normal before trying to take

your temp. If you don't want to take your temp under your tongue,

put the thermometer under your arm and wait 5 minutes. I can't

remember the exact number, but I think a temp taken under the arm needs

to have 3 degrees added to it to arrive at the correct body

temp.
