Fasting

On Thursday of last week around mid afternoon, my tooth just felt like

it exploded. The pain was pretty intense. I mean this just happened out

of nowhere. Nothing leading up to it that I am aware of. I tried clove

oil by hanging my head upside down and having my wife put in several

drops. Well she went a tad overboard and pumped in about 5 or 6 drops

all of which ended up on the roof of my mouth and into my nose.

Whoooeeee, does that burn. Talk about dumping mucus in a hurry. I highly

recommend that nobody ever try this. Of course, after the burning left

my nose was somewhat numb but the tooth still hurt like bloody blazes. I

did not sleep at all very well this night.

Friday morning my whole head felt like it was going to explode. I was in

agony. I was cold and could not get warm, my upper jaw hurt and that

pain radiated all the way up to top of my head on the right hand side.

To top it off I was also going through caffeine withdrawals which always

effect me on the left side right behind my left eye. I decided I wanted

to keep my tooth as long as possible so I decided on fasting. I ate

nothing all of Friday and drank only water with lemon. I did not sleep

well this night either but I did sleep better than the night before.

Saturday, I ate nothing again, only drinking distilled water with lemon

added. My jaw and right side of my head still hurt a lot but had eased

some. I noticed some swelling on the gum just above the tooth. The

caffeine withdrawals were still there but were also easing. I slept

quite good that night.

Sunday, I again ate nothing only drinking my water with lemon. I

actually felt great. I had tons of energy but my head still hurt. I did

pretty good with all of this so far. I found it quite interesting that I

actually had no desire to eat anything. Lots of things looked yummy and

smelled delicious but my body just was not into eating. I slept really

good this night.

Monday I awoke with little pain anywhere in my head. Mostly the tooth

and gum were still slightly painful. I had enormous amounts of energy. I

really felt wonderful but still had no desire to eat. I continued with

only water and lemon. However, around 6 pm I got this very sudden

burning, stabbing pain in my stomach and the very urgent feeling of

throwing up. This lasted for about two hours. I actually had the dry

heaves for awhile and considering I was drinking lots of water I was

amazed that nothing came up. Sure had a lot of saliva though. Sheeesh, I

didn't think those salivary glands could pump out that much saliva that

quickly. Amazing. Around 8 pm I was feeling pretty good again with no

pain in the stomach and very little in the tooth. Slept really well that

night as well.

Today, I awoke feeling very good, still some pain in the gum but not

much. Just enough to let me know it is still there. I have no desire to

eat as yet so will keep this up as long as is needed. My goal is to heal

this tooth so I can keep it without losing it. After all, our bodies are

perfect and know exactly what they need to do to heal themselves if we

only will allow them to do so.

Will keep you updated as more unfolds. One of the nice bonuses of this

is I am losing a bit of weight. Kind of nice.

Hi ,

It all depends on how I feel. If I feel like I have a ton of energy then

I am going to be doing something. Otherwise, I am, for the most part,

just taking it easy. But then I am always taking it easy. ;-) There

is no better way to take life.

After the clove oil I decided I don't want to use anything. Just let

nature do what nature does best, in this case the body knows exactly

what it needs to do much better than I.
