Guest guest
It has been awhile since reading my e-mail, I have been very busy. I noticed that some were concerned about getting to a plateau. If your are exercising and or weight lifting, you will lose fat mass but gain muscle mass; therefore, it can appear that you are not losing weight. Sometimes you can even gain weight because muscle mass is heavier than fat mass. Take body measurements, are you losing inches, but not weight?---This can be a good indicator that you are burning fat, gaining muscle. Muscle weight gain increases your metabolism; hence, eventually causing you to lose weight even more effectively. I will stop losing, then all of a sudden drop 10-20 lbs in a week or so. I make sure that my exercises include more weight lifting than cardiovascular because my life style is very hectic and I am constantly on the go! Swimming is great and I do that every day. You are losing TONS more weight than me, and I am actively working out and eating a pretty good diet....I must be missing something somewhere though cuz you have dropped 40lbs more than me in LESS time. Enlighten me...I want to optimize my weightloss. in Ark 3-08 322-

Guest guest
All of us are different! I posted what I am doing. I encourage you to always remember this, How many years ago was it that you weighed what you weigh now? I tell myself this every day and rejoice in it. I can truly say that if I suddenly found myself on a plateau, I would still rejoice in the fact that it has been years since I weighed this much! Please know that I am not trying to sound stupid or corny, but enjoy where you are today because this moment will never return. I encourage you to enjoy what you have lost! And talk to Dr. R and read some of the info I posted, maybe it will help and maybe it won't, but think about how much you have lost already!!!!
