Guest guest Posted August 24, 2002 Report Share Posted August 24, 2002 This is my first time posting to the post op site. My name is Alisha Ackerman. I had the MGB by Dr. Rutledge on July 31, 2002. I have lost 26 lbs. as of today. I am extremely pleased. My question is what hints can you give me to help maximize my weight loss? I am walking on the treadmill (30-45min/2-3 miles) 5 times a week. I am eating mostly vegetable soups, yogurt, watermelon,and 1/4 cup of mashed potatoes or fat-free refried beans with cheese. My college reunion is in Oct. and I would like to lose 40 more pounds by then. I know it is a lot. Am I being unrealistic? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
