Guest guest
Hi all, I have encountered a slight health problem and have decided on a course of treatment. 4 Days ago one of my smaller molars on my right upper jaw decided to really let me know just how angry it is. This is one of those teeth where a filling fell out quite some time ago and now has decided to be a real pain. Because of this, I find it extremely difficult to eat and do not wish to go and get another tooth removed. So I decided to fast. I am now on day four and fine that I have very little desire to eat, obviously due to pain, but more important my body just isn't hungry. My mind keeps telling me how wonderful all this fresh fruit and veggies will taste but for once I am not listening to my mind. So I have started day 4, of my fast, today drinking only distilled water with lemon juice added. I really have no idea how long this will continue. My goal is to continue until the tooth heals or the jaw heals or whatever heals. I have not had a bowel movement in 3 days and feel neither constipated nor the need to go. I have, however, been urinating like there will be no tomorrow, due to all the water and lemon. The pain has subsided quite a bit and I have even gone through the caffeine withdrawals and massive headaches associated, though I was only drinking one cup of coffee per day. Good now I can eliminate that one. I do have a ton of energy and feel just great. My tongue is disgustingly coated and tastes really gross. Can't seem to keep it brushed well enough. I went through a process on day two with severe lower back pains, which with the help of my wife's giving me a massage and an ice cold bath, it has now almost completely disappeared. It should be interesting to see how this develops as I have suffered lower back pain since high school. I am not using any herbs or essential oils. Just water and lemon juice. I find that my sleep has been improving since day 2. Anyway, just thought some of you might be interested in hearing about this. Then again maybe not, but it is another option one can use in creating health. By not eating all of the energy my body would use in digesting food for hours and hours can now be utilized in healing my tooth and jaw; even other health aspects I may not yet be aware of. I wasn't going to post this to the group but then I thought it might be of value for others to hopefully see and understand the process of fasting. I may post more about my trials if there is interest just to keep you up to date. -- Peace be with you, all. Guest guest
This is fascinating, Don. Please keep posting on how this progresses. I am one of those "loonies" that truly believes that the body can heal itself from just about anything, up to and including teeth and potentially regrowing lost limbs/digits. We were designed to last, not designed to break down.
