I think I have a pinched nerve which is causing me pain at the back of my head level with the top of my ear. I did see a chiropractor last week which finally has eased my headaches (I get what I've named computer neck) and the pain I noticed on the right and side of my head. It actually felt bruised on both sides, not like a muscle knot. But the left side still hurts quite a bit. Like sharp stabbing pains. I've tried ice and I've tried heat. I usually only need to see him about every 3 months but I'm thinking I may need to go back much sooner. Any thoughts on what I can do for myselt? Thanks for any suggestions, Barb

Tumeric would be one thing to try. Take one capsule, up to three a day. Skullcap and St. 's Wort, and the Prickly Ash extract, which aids circulation and stimulates the nerves. About 30 drops of the first two are taken, with 10 drops of the Prickly Ash. barb g <themainers@...> wrote: I think I have a pinched nerve which is causing me pain at the back of my head level with the top of my ear. You might try a different chiro. I love mine. I get terrible

headaches when put my neck out, from sleeping of all the silly

things! I also have a reange of streches and excersizes that I can

do. Anyway that's what works for me.

Becky

PS I had a chiro once who could adjust the acctual skull. Maybe

that's what you need?

Barb,

I currently work for 2 Chiros and an acupuncturist. If you are in

acute pain, you should go back to the chiro. My boss, usually has

people come back every few days and then once a week, then two

weeks, etc, easing them off of chiro as their body learns to hold

the adjustments. Mostly this happens whenthey are in acute pain

that will not go away.

Also, usually for maintenance, 4-6 weeks is reccommended. I had

GREAT luck reducing my migraines with chiropractic...so best of luck,

I usually only need to see him about every 3 months but I'm

thinking I may need to go back much sooner. Any thoughts on what I

can do for myselt?
