A question.....

To any of the nurses on the list. Dr. R gave me a prescription with a

Prevpac to treat possible Helicobacter in my stomach. When asked he

said it was “possible” it would cause a yeast infection. I don’t get

these very often but I have learned to recognize the symptoms pretty

quickly – such as a strange dry, itchy sensation in my mouth (before it

hits other areas!). My question is --- is it possible that after only

one day of the large doses of antibiotics I would already be getting a

yeast infection or am I just paranoid???? I don’t want it to “go south”

if you know what I mean and would start some treatment now if it would

help. Can anyone answer????
