7 month update today

Happy Anniversary to me! I'm 7 months old today and feeling pretty

good!

What can I say that I haven't already said? NOTHING more than

likely. My weightloss is slowing, but that's okay as I'm getting

closer to goal and that is to be expected (not to mention all the

JUNK I ate while visiting NC! LOL! I'm just glad I didn't gain!).

I still haven't gotten up the nerve to run, but have increased my

walking speed and distance and am enjoying it immensely. One day,

I'll break into a trot and scare myself, but not today. I'm planning

to run a 5k in March so I gotta get my self in gear right?

I haven't been having any problems, except that if I eat too much fat

(i.e. NORTH CAROLINA!) I have the loosey gooseys...other than that

I'm fine and feeling better than I have in years! My fibro is not

too bothersome, just a day or so here and there. Sleep apnea is

gone, pain meds, gone, suffering, GONE. I am so blessed and happy

that I chose to save my life. Yes, there are risks to the MGB like

any other WLS, but I'm glad I rolled the dice and came up with a

seven.

Today I weigh 195lbs., which means I've lost 127lbs. in 7

months...not too shabby but BOY do I have SKIN! LOL! I am

researching plastic surgeons and hope to have my tummy and breasts

done for my 1 year anniversary gift to myself!

I DO have a large hernia in my lower stomach (God only KNOWS how long

it was there, hidden by all that fat!!) so I can't lift weights right

now, but in time I hope to get back into that as well. I hope

everyone is enjoying their new lives as much as I have been able to.

It's a whole new world and I wouldn't trade my life for anyone's

anymore. A year ago, I woulda traded blindly with just about anyone

and felt I would have come out on top! So that is quite a statement

for me to be able to make!
