Guest guest
I'm a hard stick too. I have deep set rolling veins. It usually takes them 2-3 times to get me and then I have massive bruises for a long time. Yay me! NOT! So I know exactly where you are coming from! But at least step one is over! Way to go on the exercising! (hugs) On 4/13/05, cambfaye <cafaye@...> wrote: Well folks: I did a fast and had blood drawn this AM, thanks to all of YOU!!! I was so grateful.Rushed to the cafeteria to have breakfast and a big cup of coffee!!! ( the worst part for me about fasting)So, step one is over. Next week's appointment, step two. Whatever the news , I'll face it! and I'll have you to share it with. Yesterday: did Sansone video, a few minutes of yoga stretches, and was a little bit better re: food. Thanks for being there.Faye

Guest guest
Congrats! FYI: One of the easiest ways to be help be an 'easy stick' is to a) relax (yeeeeah right!) and Be super-well hydrated! Being dehydrated makes it soooo much harder to get blood drawn! One more reason to Drink That Water! Also, my understanding is that you can have water or black coffee or tea the morning of your draws. Of course, if you don't like your coffee black... My PA is finally giving up on fasting blood draws for me. I'm one of those diabetics whose numbers just keep going up, up, up until I eat in the morning. She was worried about my number at the office being high and wanted to re-do the test. I finally got her to " get " the logic: It'll just be the same problem! So, next time I go in, I get to eat SulaBlue > > Well folks: I did a fast and had blood drawn this AM, thanks to all of > YOU!!!
