we use the isopure chocolate ( I think). HOwever, we mix it with 1/2 banana,

vanilla, 1 tsp. smuckers all natural peanut butter (this would have made me

dump at 4 weeks), ice cubes - it is to die for!

I know what you mean about not being able to stomach the protein powders,

bars etc.. I've just tried the Isopure Zero Carb Strawberries and Cream.

It has 50 grams of protein in each serving. I find it to be very tasty with

a couple of packets of Splenda in it. It calls for 2 scoops per serving. If

that is too much try only one, but I think it is about the best thing I've

tried in my nearly 3 years since surgery.

Remember you are getting some protein from your yogurt cottage cheese etc.

if you can tolerate them. You might try mixing a little protein powder into

your yogurt too.

Hi ,

I like Dr. Adkins shakes but as yet I still cannot tolerate adding powder.

Each shake has 20 gm. of protein--chocolate and vanilla are best.

We use the isopure choccolate powder and use a full scoop of that, with about

1/2 t. vanilla and only 3 or 4 ice cubes (we use frozen banana).

M-m-m! Sounds good! I'll have to try it when I next buy some. Right now I

have a tub of Vanilla and the Strawberry Cream. I even had the strawberry

cream with my Citrucel this morning and it was good that way. I had been

putting it in the blender with the splenda, milk and ice cubes. I can

handle it plan with the Citrucel to now! It is a fantastic source of

protein.

Thanks!

Betty
