Hi gang,

I don't have time to read or post much these days but wanted to celebrate

with all of you that this morning when I weighed in I hit the 100 lb lost

mark. I am still three weeks short of my one year anniversary and I can't

believe how this feels! My life is so different than one year ago.

Thank God and Dr. Rutledge and all my MGB friends for their support. Today a

friend at work was talking to me about the 70 lbs she needs to lose and her

battle with weight. It was the most amazing feeling to sit there and think

that I will never be in that place again. Sometimes its surrealistic and I

get frightened that the weight will return. But in reality I just feel

wonderful. Can't wait to see everyone next week.

Congrats !! So happy for you! OMG, one hundred

pounds!

I know what you mean about that fear popping up every

once in a while. Dr. Rutledge told us at clinic that

he had some patients who needed to have a revision for

losing too much weight. They told him that they would

rather die than go back to where they started. At the

time I thought that a little drastic, but now I can

relate.

So happy for you, keep up the good work. 100 lbs ,boy that is

something. I am inching up slower I have lost like 84lbs now. I went

shopping the other day with my daughter and I finally got down to 1X and size

20, before I was 3X 26pants. It is greaat, I got a few new things,

because I have been getting rid of everything, they were way too big. But

then when I had to get dressed there were only a few things that I had to

wear. Here and there I would get a new top or another pair of pants, but now

even those things were too big. So now for a while I am set. Now today I

have to shorten the pants on a few things, others I found petite. And they

fit. I am so happy. Are you going to be at the picnic???? Hope to see you

there.
