Guest guest Posted December 14, 2001 Report Share Posted December 14, 2001 Hi Everyone, I am Janet Rudden and haven't recently written, BUT, today is my one year anniversary and I thought it was time to celebrate my good news with everyone. As of this morning, I have lost 114 pounds!! Amazing! I can't believe that it was one year ago today that my mom and I were in North Carolina, meeting Dr. R. and having this miraculous surgery. Has my life changed........you bet!! I can now do anything I want and my weight doesn't get in the way. My 3 year old son can run as fast as he wants and I can now catch him!!!! All I do now and listen to the amazement of people that see me and can't believe their eyes!! What fun!! It was during our stay in NC that my mom and I were treated to dinner by Rosemary and Vinnie as a surprise when we got our bill and it had been taken care of!!! We were sitting at a table near by. Dr. R. you have saved my life and given me a new one that I can be proud of. I thank you and thank you and one day hope to be at the picnic to once again meet all of my littermates and other MGB friends. Happy Holidays to All and Many Pounds Off to Everyone!!!
