8 month update/I missed the picnic

Hi MGBers and future MGBers,

I am soooo disappointed I missed the picnic but won't miss the Christmas

party. I am soooo happy to report my 8 month update (tomorrow actually). I

have lost 138 pounds and feel unbelievable! I have lost a bunch of hair but

the loss has stopped and new little hairs are growing in. My hair used to be

at my waist (cover everything up you know) and it is now shoulder length and

too cute. I started in a really tight 34W (you know the huge size in the

Roaman's catalog) and now am wearing a 20. I know that a size 20 sounds

large to some of you but believe me it is a huge difference for me. I am

actually wearing pants now to work and look great! I recently flew on a

plane, used the regular seat belt AND crossed my legs! I would do this

surgery in a second and HIGHLY recommend it. I eat whatever I want and

usually chose the healthy options but sometimes have a peice of pizza when

the mood strikes w/o any guilt. I am 6' tall so even at 272 I am turning

heads and LOVE it. I started at 407 when Dr. R did my surgery and can't

believe how I look today. I have been battling with my skin lately and

hopefully that will clear up soon. I had a hard time posting my pre op

weight at first and am still pretty embarrased by it but feel better and can

finally tell you guys who do understand. I hope to get to 199 sometime in

the next 6 months. I do the vitamins and protein RELIGIOUSLY and think that

has had a lot to do with my success. I wish I have lost as much as Audra but

am still happy with my loss. I exercise regularly with racquetball,

kickboxing and weights. I drink tons of gatorade and water and just feel

fantastic. Well, I know I'm kinda long winded but I am just amazed and want

to tell you everything.

I am sorry I missed the picnic and can't wait to see those who come to the

Xmas party.....most of all thank you Dr. Rutledge! I can't imagine where I

might be without him, don't want to know just thanks!
