Guest guest Posted August 22, 2001 Report Share Posted August 22, 2001 Dear Friends, Today is the 9th mo. anniversary of my surgery! I'm doing great! As of today, my weight is 171, down 92 lbs from my starting weight of 263. I have a BMI of 27 and change. I've lost 85+% of my excess weight, so I can't expect to lose much more. I can eat anything, just not much of anything! Other than incredibly disgusting flatus, I haven't had any side effects of any kind! My life has changed immeasurably for the better. I'm grateful to Dr. Rutledge for the job he's done for me! I'm grateful to all of my friends on this site, without whom I couldn't have made this life-saving decision nor recovered so well afterwards. Thanks, buddies!
