Hi all,

I wanted to share this!!! I have found a direct correlation with my weight

loss and protein intake....been studyin it now for the past 2

months.......i CANNOT take the protein shakes, no form....no WAY.......cant

stand it.......I DO NOT eat Meats......nothing........so my protein for

awhile was very hard to get so i did not loose much my 2nd month

........well not as much as i thought i would....since then ive been tryin

to find sum way of gettin my protein......i have spent over 200.00 in whey

protein mixtures, protein shakes, *various types* nothin ic ould take.......

WEEEEEEEEELL.....i knew i didnt want the Meats.....but i could eat

seafood......sooo now for protein i eat shrimp cocktail......13 shrimp =

130 cal= 29 grams of protein.......when school was in i would bring my

shrimp cocktail with me to school....my students wanted to attack me......i

cant eat but maybe 7 at one time but ....by the time the day is out i

usually have 40grams of proteins eaten......

WHEN i dont eat my shrimp my weight loss slows........bc i have no other

real source of protein......i eat vegetables only.......

i buy the shrimp from the super walmart........ i get the large ring 20.00

that last me all week and into the next week.....considerin that is my

primary source of food along with my veggies it is a good deal........

once again this week i tried eatin cereal again ......SIGH.........no can

do..........Cant tolerate milk........i told my best friend i was goign to

get sumthin to eat in kitchen then came back with my cereal.......she

said......OHHH NOOOOOOOOOO...........LOL.......i said yup i gotta keep

tryin it .....didnt work stomach still hurt .........anyone else couldnt

tolerate milk at first but then could eat it later on? I USES to love my

raisain nut bran........:( now i cant have it ....

DR R still waiiting on my contraceptive answer!!! LOL.......

Kathy,

I'm curious what kind of milk your trying. I too had problems until I went to

fat free milk with my cereal. Have you tried that?

You might also want to try Lactaid milk. Its good and has no lactose which is

what usually upsets the tummy. Even soy milk is good.

Another great source is crab meat! :) I have found it to be a great light

meal / snack.

i have been tryin 2% milk....cereal just wouldnt be the same with

any other kind LOL.......*picky*

this was something i was going to suggest also i can't have whole milk either

and don 't seem to be bothered with 2% or skim. i to know this you also need

to specify what you mean buy upset stomach to some people. because it could

be just gas or just diarrhea or both having. the whole milk having high

fat will lead to gas and lactose has to do with dairy products. so you need

to narrow it down for your self.

And not sure if any of you have heard of me but I have had my surgery Ten

months ago and am hit the-150 mark finally oh yes feels great. And I lost my

first 100 pounds 6 months after.

Perhaps this is why I haven't had a problem with milk, I've been

drinking fat free for years now. My parents drink Vitamin D whole

milk, and I don't see how they choke it down!
