Guest guest
Tonya, I'm not taking B-12 currently. Is it for energy or what? I'll have to check into it a little and start taking it. I've been real tired lately, but have some things going on personally that is wearing heavy on me. I'm thinking that mental exhaustion is what could be my problem. in OK 3/29/01 Dr. R 303/261 , I'm just about two months post op and have felt the same way from time to time. Usually it is because I either haven't gotten enough sleep, forgot to take my sublingual B-12, or because I'm dehydrated. I would try to get in more liquids - take B-12 if you're not (they really really do make a difference) and don't be afraid to take a nap if you need to. Take care of yourself! Guest guest
Sounds like dehydration and lack of salt. Eat some salty foods and see if that helps. Could also be a potassium deficiency. Gatorade or supplements could help also. This is a common problem about this stage. Pat Hey Group! I'm TIRED! Hi Everyone! I am a bit over 2 months post-op and I am feeling so tired all the time. And when I get up, I feel dizzy and just plain out " yucky " . Has anyone else had this? I am taking all my vitamins.......what could it be? Got any ideas? Thanks for all the helpful tips every day! Guest guest
,--- Sounds like you are needing more potasium, salty foods, and more gatorade(electrolytes). This happened to me the first month I was so lothogic and it waved in and out for 3 months. Dr R recommended, salty foods and potassium. I still take potasium 3 times a day 99mgs each.( i m a year out) I feel its helped a whole lot with my energy level. Check you blood again and be certain your numbers are good! I hope you feel better soon! Lori Walmart has these pills and they are coated, I hate swallowing pills not coated if I dont have to ......gag! Guest guest
Hi ! Yes, B-12 is for energy. I recently ran out and had to go without it for a few days and boy did I feel the difference! I take a sublingual once a day in the morning and it usually keeps me going all day - sometimes I do turn into a bit of a chatterbox though Tonya in MN 3-28-01 Dr. R RE: Hey Group! I'm TIRED! Guest guest
, I think its 2 months post op blah. I did the same thing at 2 months, and talked to several other people who had the same thing. Have you tried b-12? > Hi Everyone! > I am a bit over 2 months post-op and I am feeling so tired all the time. > And when I get up, I feel dizzy and just plain out " yucky " . Guest guest
If you try the other stuff (upping salt, gatorade, B12 shot ((I've Had one)) good naps or at least adequate sleep time) I would contact my Doctor. Remember Sassy and her gallbladder? She waited and endured more pain because she thought it would straighten itself out. Going to the Doc can be a very positive thing!! Maybe it's nothing, but if you do everything right and keep getting bad results, I' d let a Dr. check me out! HUGS in Ark 3-
Guest guest
Hello Everyone! I did go to the doc yesterday and have some bloodwork done, but they're closed Mon. for the holiday so I won't know why I'm so tried til next week. I have upped my sodium intake and I've been having mostly fluids since I have no appetite . ( mostly gatorade and soups) Now I've gained 2 pounds in 2 days! WHAT'S UP WITH THAT??!! I'm going in the wrong direction! Anyway, I am still exhausted and just out right " yucky " . What else could it be? Thanks for all your helpful advice! Kisses, in Charlotte
