Guest guest
This sounds like fun. Would this be on a week night or on a week- end? Week-ends get filled up really quick around Christmas. Either way, whatever is decided, I will try to do what I can to rearrange... What a nice opportunity to get our kids together! And , you belong to a wonderful church. They are so accomodating to our group. Even if I can't make it, I would like to contribute whatever the determined donation would be. -Trish > > Of getting together for a holiday party early - mid december? Guest guest
Trish, We were thinking of either a Saturday afternoon/evening or a Sunday afternoon/evening...around 4pm or so either day... and yes..we are blessed that my church is very supportive of activities like this. They currently have a group in there called Partners in Rhyme that is a once a month ..it's a night out of snacks and music for those adults with disabilities and handicaps that are in group homes. They also have a group called Soar which is for for adults with disabilites and handicaps as well that does sports/exercise activies which uses our hall for yoga classes a few times a year. They feel it is there job to be there for groups like these in our community and with Kiernan being one of their own...they are extremely supportive of us and willing to let us bring in groups that will allow parents to network together and find support that is needed. They know my frustrations as many of the members are like family to me since I've been in the church for close to 25 years now. Hope that you will be able to make it! > > > > Of getting together for a holiday party early - mid december? > Maybe > > a dinner (potluck style) with music..could even do a visit from > the > > man in the red suit...
