Genz: I have been having so much fun with your recipes. Melva had to take

a desert to work yesterday and she asked me to make the pecan bars. She came

home with a few crumbs. I would say that they liked it. Haven't heard from

you lately. Is Randy still doing ok? Mickey is staying busy fishing (but

not catching) golfing (But not very well). He is having fun anyway. Are you

going to the holiday party and mini convention? Mickey and I are going with

Kim and Bill and Suzanne from Flagler is suppose to come up with us. We will

have a fast trip but don't need a lot of time. I am going to N>C

Thanksgiving to do some of my Christmas Shopping. Mickey's family have their

reunion in Cherryville N>C> at thanksgiving every year. We have gone nearly

every year and decided since both his parents are gone that we would go again

this year. Phyllis

Has anyone had any news on Genz? She was scheduled on Monday for her

revision. I have been thinking about her all week and looking for

some news.

Genzel (Genz) did have her revision. She is ok. There were some problems

and she has a different hookup...an RNY hookup. But she is ok and her attitude

and spirits are good. She will be in the hospital a week if any of you are in

the area. She's in room 520 if anyone wants to call her. Our has been

right by her side and will take her back to Raleigh to recover. She has not had

an easy time this round and is taking pain meds. When she had her original MGB

she itched from the pain meds so she didn't take them. This time the pain was

bad enough where she's suffering through the itching.

Please think good thoughts for her speedy recovery and for those who do and care

to a few prayers would be great. As I said, she is fine, nothing to worry about.

But she did have a rough time. But she's a trooper!

I so enjoyed getting to talk to you Pat. You are a very interesting lady and

now I know all kinds of things I didn't know before! I had no idea you made

furniture. That is just WAY COOL...Genz called late last night and she may

even get to come home today. All in all she is doing very well.

I stopped by and saw Genz this afternoon and she is slowly improving.

Still quite uncomfortable though. Valmassoi was there and we had

a mini MGB meeting. and I did most of the talking and hopefully

took Genz's mind off her discomfort for a little while. Still no idea

when she will get to go home.

Hugs (and Prayers for Genz)

Pat Lyle

I will definitely give her your good wishes when I talk to her today.

Re: Genz

Pat Lyle or V,

If you get to see Genz or talk to her, please tell her I was

asking for her, and am so sorry she has to go through all of this. Tell her

my thoughts and prayers are with her.
